The Samsung Gear Fit may not even be out in the UK yet, but Samsung has already released a major update for the device – one which addresses one of its most glaring flaws.
The Gear Fit’s display can now display on screen items vertically, rather than strictly horizontally. Of course on a device as oblong as the Gear Fit, this might not sound terribly practical, but when you consider how its worn on the wrist it actually makes a lot more sense. Whilst there might not be as much presented information in vertical orientation, it should be a lot easier to quickly ingest it.
The device will hopefully be priced somewhere in the region of £120 and will be released in the UK on April 11th alongside the Samsung Galaxy S5, which we’ll be reviewing in next month’s issue of What Mobile Magazine.
