Samsung Mobile becomes handset partner for V Festival 2009

Samsung has announced that the 12-megapixel endowed Pixon 12 cameraphone will be released at the end of June. The Pixon 12 has a 3.1-inch touchscreen AM-OLED display and Touch Auto-Focus tracking that follows the subject once you’ve selected it by pressing on the display.

Samsung has announced it will showcase its latest smartphones at CommunicAsia (June 16-19th in Singapore), with three new additions to the Omnia family; Omnia II (I8000), Omnia Pro (B7610) and the Omnia Lite (B7300). All three models will run on Windows Mobile Professional 6.1 but can be upgraded to 6.5 when it becomes available.
