As with Ruark’s other products, the exclusive RotoDial controller makes operation simple, but also included with R5 is a matching ‘radio-link’ remote which mirrors exactly the controls on R5. Radio communication means that aiming of the remote is
not required and sited on a coffee table its unique design makes it a guaranteed talking point. R5 can also be controlled using Ruark’s LINK app for iOS and Android devices. This makes browsing music services/internet radio stations and setup for
multi-room a simple task.
When it comes to playback R5 has virtually every option covered, with comprehensive Wi-Fi streaming, a multi-format CD player, aptX HD Bluetooth, DAB/FM and Internet radio tuners, USB playback/charge port, analogue and digital inputs including a dedicated RIAA turntable input.
