If you’re a Windows Phone user, you may have noticed that over the last 24 hours or so there the Facebook integration has been throwing up some error messages, with devices failing to sync with Facebook’s servers. It’s okay, you’re not alone, What Mobile has been able to reproduce the error on a Lumia 1020, and Microsoft has even acknowledged the error.

The error code 83CF1104 is apparently being investigated by the Facebook team according to Windows Phone chief Joe Belfiore who took to Twitter to notify users that the issue hasn’t got unnoticed.

As it stands Windows Phone users will not be able to access many of the built-in functionality from Facebook, including Facebook Chat and the updating of contact photos although News Feed updates still seem to be appearing in the People hub.
