EE has launched a new range of bundles that will give its prepaid customers access to 4G data for £1 per week.

EE claims that 70 per cent of prepaid customers spend less than £10 per month so the operator, the largest in the UK, has revamped its prepaid offering by offering Talk and Text, Data and combined Everything weekly packages that the operator claims is the best on the market.

The packs are split into data, calls and texts, and a combination package.  The £1 weekly charge will give prepaid customers 100MB of 4G data plus 10 minutes of calls and 10 texts on the Data pack.  The Calls and Texts pack will give 25 minutes of calls and 50 texts per week.

The operator has also revamped its monthly packs.  Starting at £10 for a 30 day pack, customers will get 250 minutes and unlimited texts or 150 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB  under the Everything pack.

EE’s customers can also get access to its double speed 4G network if they add a £15 per month Everything Bundle.

The packages come with in built data caps meaning that customers cannot exceed their allowance and will have to purchase further add-ons if they run out of data, calls or texts.  They will also automatically renew every week, after the previous pack has expired.

EE will also reward customers who purchase their packs for over three months by offering them an extra 250MB of data, 50 minutes of calls or 250 texts for free.

The new packs are available immediately through EE stores, online and all other EE retail channels.
