PlayStation Network friend list expanded to 2,000

Do you have over 100 friends with a PlayStation 3, PS Vita or maybe even a PS4? Is that 100-cap making it hard to fit them all onto your PlayStation Network friends list? Then Sony has saved your day.

The friend cap today went from 100 to some 2000. We’ll admit that we’re going to have a hard time filling that up.

The expansion is made just before the launch of the PS4, which hits the US on November 15th and the EU on November 29th. You’ll be able to view your friends and browse their activity via the PlayStation app that should be launching around the same time. Expect mobile to play a big role in the next generation.
