Prices start from £169 for the entry-level smartphone
Oppo has announced a partnership with operator O2 to launch its Oppo A5 2020 smartphone from today (January 23).
The entry-level smartphone has a retail price of £169 and is available on pay monthly deals from £19.20 with O2 in the mirror black colour.
It is also available through Carphone Warehouse SIM-free at £179.99 and the same price on Amazon.
One of the most notable features is a 5,000mAh battery that Oppo claims can last for up to 19 continuous hours of use.
There is a 6.5-inch screen, that has an 89 per cent screen-to-body ratio, with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 offering resistance to scratches.
It comes with a quad-camera set up including a 12MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP mono lens and 2MP portrait lens, along with an 8MP selfie camera on the front.
Other features include 3GB RAM and 64GB of internal memory, with the smartphone powered by a Snapdragon 665 processor and runs on Android Pie 9.
