Samsung and Lebara also triumph twice at industry’s biggest and most prestigious awards ceremony
O2 scored a hat-trick of wins at the Mobile News Awards 2013, which took place at the Park Lane Hilton last night.
The firm won the Best Network Operator award, as well as the Advertising Campaign and Innovative Service prizes for its Priority Moments service.
Samsung was named Best Manufacturer, and won the Innovative Product prize for its Samsung Galaxy Camera product. Lebara was named Best MVNO and also won the Community and Social Enterprise award.
The Airtime Distributor prize was won by Carphone Warehouse Business, Micro-P won the Hardware Distributor award and 20:20 Mobile topped the Accessories Distributor category.
Carphone Warehouse picked up the Large Retailer prize while Buymobilephones.net scored success in the Online Retailer category. EE won the Industry Advance award for its 4G network.
Vodafone platinum partner Evolve Telecom was named the top B2B dealer, ANOVO scooped the Service and Repair prize and Nokia was successful with its Lumia 920 smartphone, which was awarded the Innovative Handset prize.
O2 Centre of Excellence dealer Uplands picked up the Customer Service award, while the Business Solutions trophy was won by Excell Group.
