O2 today announces that it will stock the flagship smartphone from Huawei, the Mate 20 X 5G, available on O2 custom plans.
The Huawei Mate 20 X 5G is the world’s fastest 5G smartphone, featuring a 7.2” ultra-large OLED display, a 40MP ultra-wide-angle Leica Triple Camera and a 4200mAh longer-lasting battery.
The flagship device also features the world’s first 7nm 5G chipset, a graphene film and vapour chamber cooling system as well as the unique 40W Huawei supercharge.
With O2’s custom plans, customers have the freedom to tailor an individual plan to suit their needs and lifestyle. Customers can choose their data allowance, how much they want to pay upfront, how much they want to spread the remaining cost of their device from anywhere between 3 and 36 months (in one-month increments).
Customers have the option of flexing the data allowance they originally chose up and down every month giving them the peace of mind that the plan they sign up for will be the right one for them.
A selection of 5G tariffs are available from O2 for the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G, from £46.03 per month for 5GB of data with a £30 upfront payment.
5G is now available on O2, having initially switched on in Belfast, Cardiff, Edinburgh, London, Slough and Leeds this month. O2’s 5G network will continue to roll out to customers, reaching a total of 20 towns and cities by the end of the year, extending to 50 by summer 2020.
Customers who want to upgrade early from another handset need only pay off the remaining balance of their Device Plan to stay bang-up-to-date. Customers who want to keep their phone after their custom plan finishes will only pay for their monthly Airtime Plan from that point.
