HONOR has brought its first foldable phone to debut outside of China, HONOR Magic Vs which comes with a Triple Camera design on the back cover. The device folds out to a 6.81-inch display with what HONOR calls a ‘quad-curved floating screen’ with a peak brightness of 1800 nits to show the display under bright sunlight.
The HONOR Magic Vs measures 12.9mm thin when folded and weighs 267g in weight. A 5000mAh battery is said to be the highest capacity among foldable smartphones under 270g available today.
A second new phone is the Magic5 Pro with 800nits outdoor brightness and an improved video specification such as a higher frame rate with lower power consumption, Lower blue light emission and reduced flickering is said to relieve eye strain. A Triple Main Camera has a 50MP wide angle, normal and telephone and increased sensor size. AI Motion Sensing Capture automatically detects the highest point of a jump and captures the frame in ultra-high definition
The Magic Pro gets the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.
