Nexus 5 production tweaked to fix speakers and buttons

We all know that Google and LG’s latest handset is a pretty darn great piece of kit, but Nexus 5 production hasn’t been without complaints. Some users have reported issues with loose, rattling buttons, for example.

Thus, the companies have tweaked Nexus 5 production somewhat. Newer devices are reportedly coming with slightly larger holes on the speaker grilles, allowing for a slightly louder volume level by about a decibel or so. And, yes, the buttons have also been made stiffer so as to put those prior complaints to bed.

It doesn’t help those who had the issues in the first place, but at least the issues have been dealt with.
