New version of WhatsApp released for iOS 7

Messaging application WhatsApp has been updated for users of Apple’s latest operating system iOS 7.

The new version of the app features larger thumbnail pictures of contacts, new notification alerts and sounds and it will also crop your images before sending them.

WhatsApp for iOS 7 also has a new user interface so the app’s style is more in-keeping with the OS. It also has improved “share location” capabilities, allowing users to view a 3D map and search for their location.

It can be downloaded from Apple’s app store for free immediately.
