We’ve heard about a possible Nexus 8 tablet before, with a possible image (above) leaking online. Now new Nexus 8 rumors have come in, suggesting that the company will switch out the Nexus 7 for the bigger model this year.
DigitTimes is quoting supply chain sources in saying that Google will make the switch mid-2014. Apparently this is due to weaker than expected demand on last year’s Nexus 7 refresh after the price hike on the newer device.
Apparently the Nexus 8 will be an Intel Bay Trail-T device, built by Asustek. Apparently fresh details on the new Nexus 8 could arrive next month.
