Motorola has begun pushing out a new update for the Moto X which introduces a new Action Gesture to activate the phones flashlight.

Coinciding with the Android 5.1 update, the unique feature, oddly dubbed “Chop twice for Flashlight” will allow users to turn on the devices LED camera flash by waving the phone in the air “like you’re cutting an onion”. To turn off the flashlight, the user simply waves the device again.

On top of this, the traditional Android 5.1 update also provides a number of other enhancements, such as stronger security, HD voice support and quicker access to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi settings. The update is currently only available for a small number of models in Brazil, however a wider rollout is expected soon.
