Motorola have announced a price cut to their latest smartphone, with the moto G now costing just £100 when bought with a £10 pay-as-you-go top up.

The moto G dropped in the UK in November of last year at what was already a thoroughly reasonable £135 for the 8GB model, but in an effort to keep up with the competition Motorola have decided to drop price even further.

What’s more, the moto G is now running on KitKat 4.4, Android’s latest operating system – all that’s needed is for owners to download the free update.

The moto G is a staple of Vodafone’s new ‘Within Reach’ smartphone campaign. From now until 3rdApril  you can pick up a  pay-as-you-go smartphone at an unbelievably low price. The line-up includes the Vodafone Smart Mini for £45 and the Samsung Galaxy Fame at £75, when bought with a £10 top up.
