LG G Pad range of tablets launching this week

Having announced its G Pad tablet range at its G3 flagship smartphone launch, LG is now releasing the slates globally – beginning with Europe – this week

Having already revealed that the new tablets come in three sizes; 7.0 inch, 8.0 inch and 10.1 inch, LG has now also announced the specs for the trio.

All three tablets run on Android 4.4. KitKat with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and WXGA IPS displays.

Each will be powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, contain 1GB RAM, an expansion slot, front and rear cameras, Wi-Fi and bluetooth connectivity.

The  LG G Pad 7.0 and the  G Pad 8.0 will be available in  white, luminous orange and luminous blue colour range, while the  G Pad 10.1 comes in  black and red.

The G Pad 7.0 will start rolling out in Europe this week followed by the other two versions in the coming weeks. LG has still not revealed its retail prices for the devices yet.
