The Lenovo TB-X304 will be one of only a handful of tablets expected to debut at Mobile World Congress 2017 later this month.
Rumours are buzzing across the internet that Lenovo is gearing up five new tablet launches for MWC this year, with the Lenovo TB-X304 expected to one of those devices. Ahead of its reveal, hardware information for the new tablet has popped up on Geekbench. It looks to be a budget offering, with a 9.4-inch HD screen and quad-core qualcomm CPU. RAM looks to be 2GB, while internal storage is likely 16GB (we really hope this is expandable). Two cameras will feature on the device, both of which are fairly basic. The rear camera musters 5 megapixels, while the front shooter only seems to hit 2MP. This will not be enough for FullHD video calling.
The device will run on Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box, which is a nice addition. We expect that most devices launching at MWC this year will have the newest operating system. Other Lenovo tablets expected to launch at MWC include the TB-X304F/N, TB-X704F/N, TB-8504F/N and TB-8704F/N and Tab 3 8 Plus (TB-8703F), though no official statement has been made by the company regarding any of these launches.
