Microsoft has just released another preview build of Windows 10 Mobile which includes the new much talked about Universal Office apps and a new store.

The 10080 update is the first to support the Lumia 930 and includes Microsoft’s new and improved Windows Store app. While it’s still incredibly buggy at this point in development, you can already tell that the design theme is much closer to that of the desktop version.

Of course, with a new store app comes access to new Windows Phone applications that are unavailable in the current store; the main highlight being those newly developed universal Office apps.

Microsoft has spoken about them pretty intently, detailing the scaling abilities of these newer generation universal apps: “They’re touch-first, built for tablets and phones, and optimised for viewing, quick edits, notes and mark-up.

“The Universal apps adapt to the smaller form factor. Commands and controls are moved to the bottom of the screen so you can triage your work and make edits one-handed with your thumb.”

Also new in the update is refreshed Music and Video Apps which offer a much  cleaner experience when compared with the current versions. It’s all incredibly minimalistic with those pencil thin icons that have been carried over from the desktop version of Windows 10. There’s also a new camera app which features HDR, as well as the anticipated Xbox app.
