Jabra is bringing its audio knowledge to the corded headphone market, with three new sets for people on the go, music lovers and athletes.
Three new products were announced today by Jabra, to ‘take the company’s expertise in sound quality, comfort and design to the corded headset market’.
The first two products to go on sale will be the CHILL and RHYTHM, followed by the ACTIVE to be released later in the year. Jabra has decided to enter this market as demand for headphones increases with the growing number of multimedia handsets with 3.5mm headphone sockets.
From listening to music, podcasts, movies or audio books, or talking on the phone, the headphones are designed with different users’ needs in mind, whether they’re always on the go, listening to music or engaging in athletic activity.
Jabra CHILL – SRP £19.99
For people on the go, the CHILL is the first corded headset featuring Jabra Ultimate-fit Eargels; ear gels that stay securely in the ear and deliver a great sound experience.
Jabra RHYTHM – SRP £24.99
Premium stereo sound, with noise isolating ear buds and microphone wind-noise reduction technology. Designed to ergonomically fit ears and look stylish too.
Jabra ACTIVE – SRP £TBC
Athletes and active users will be able to listen to music and train hard without worrying about adjusting their ear buds. Ergonomically designed for sport, the Jabra ACTIVE features Jabra Active Eargels, sweat and water-resistant ear buds that securely and comfortably “lock” into the ear so they won’t fall out. The headset offers superior sound quality, microphone wind-noise reduction and comes with a neat carrying case for easy portability.
All three models include a control box that allows users to skip tracks and answer calls without needing to touch your phone, along with a gold-plated plug. The headphones work on smartphones including the iPhone and BlackBerry devices
