The next generation iPad may share more in common with the iPad Mini than just its name, if leaked photos are to be believed.
The photos were posted on Chinese social networking site Weibo, and appear to show a common design direction between the next generation iPad and the iPad Mini.
Previous rumours seem to suggest that the iPad 5 will feature a smaller bezel around the screen, something that is currently common with the iPad Mini. The images also appear to suggest that the curved design of the iPad has been replaced with the more angular design of the its miniature brother.
The photo also shows a brand new redesigned iPad Mini, although we’re not sure if it’s the retina — as it’s pretty hard to tell from the back.
If all goes according to the rumours, we should be seeing these new iPads in October.
