Huawei Ascend Mate hits the UK exclusively through Vodafone

UK operator Vodafone announced today that they will be exclusively supplying the Huawei Ascend Mate in the UK.

The handset was launched overseas earlier this year and offers a massive 6.1 inch HD display which uses Magic Touch technology to allow users to operate it while wearing gloves. The device uses a 1.5GHz quad core processor and runs on Android, using Jellybean 4.1 and includes an eight megapixel camera.

The handset is available free on a £29 monthly contract which includes 500mb of data, 600 minutes and unlimited texts or £300 on pay-as-you-go.
