There’s no denying that the HTC One is a marvel of engineering, with an absolutely beautiful design, but it hasn’t saved HTC from the red — so naturally the company is hoping it can improve on the sales when it goes for round two, with the rumoured HTC M8.

The M8 is supposedly the successor to the HTC One, and will reportedly feature some rather drastic changes, including a fingerprint sensor much like the one found on the HTC One Max. It has slightly moved position though, with it being above the camera rather than below it — something that we found rather irritating with the HTC One Max.

There will also be some otehr software changes, with master leaker evleaks claiming that it’ll be the first device to come with HTC Sense 6.0. It’s likely that it’ll also be running Android 4.4 KitKat as well, with the device set to arrive on all US carriers in Q1 2014.

The leaked images that have come to use from the Baidu Tieba forum include a golden HTC M8 and also one that features a blue chasis.
