GTAV app hits Windows Phone

If Windows Phone users haven’t already sped through GTAV since its release two months ago, then they have a bit of a treat in store. The iFruit companion app that launched on Android and iOS back at release is now on Microsoft’s OS.

iFruit allows for some cool interactions with GTAV. You can tune cars to go faster and look nicer and train up your pet dog to, well, just be a better killing machine, and then use them in-game. It’s hardly revolutionary, but worth it for the name alone. Expect to see more of these companion app types hitting as the next-generation of home consoles starts to settle in.
