It’s happened to us all before. We’ve read about an exciting new Android app, headed to the Google Play Store hoping to give it a go and discovered that it’s not even ready.

Most people who get to that stage will usually forget about the app shortly after. However, Google has just released a new feature that will make it easier to keep track of these apps. The Play Store’s new pre-register feature will notify you whenever an app is available to download.

You can also cancel any future Google Play notifications and there’s no commitment to purchase any apps.

Google Play Terminator Genisys

A Terminator Genisys app called Revolution is the first to use the feature, but it’s currently unclear what other apps will take advantage of it.
