Google Glass can now be controlled from your Android phone

MyGlass has always been the app to help you set up your Google Glass, but now it could become your gateway to looking a lot less weird.

The latest update to the app expels the need to nod your head, swipe or speak at your Google Glass, with Google adding the ability to control the UI using your Android smartphone.

Whilst the update info does say that you’ll now be able to “Touch/swipe/tap to control the Glass UI through the screencast experience,” some users have reported that this isn’t the case as of yet — with Google Glass likely waiting for an update to support the functionality.

I can’t help but feel that operating the UI from your phone kind of defeats the object of Glass — although it’ll be interesting to see if anyone can operate the UI from their phone without actually looking at their phone.
