Ford CEO not in running for Microsoft top spot

Ford CEO Alan Mulally has confirmed that he won’t be the next boss of Microsoft.

Mulally had been a favorite for the role in press speculation, but released a statement this week confirming otherwise.

“I would like to end the Microsoft speculation because I have no other plans to do anything other than serve Ford…you don’t have to worry about me leaving.”

That leaves the likes of Nokia’s Stephen Elop still in the running for the role. The Ford CEO might be out of the running but there are still plenty of other choices for the next boss.
