Scheme will now run until January 31, 2020
EE has announced that it plans to continue offering unlimited data to NHS workers until January 31, 2021, as the UK continues to tackle a rise in COVID-19.
The offer was originally due to end om October 9, 2020, but has now been extended by EE into the New Year.
Since launching on April 9, 2020, the offer has been taken up by over 270,000 NHS staff. The extended scheme can be worth up to £250 to each member of NHS staff who signed up in April.
The offer is still available for new registrations who can apply for the scheme with a valid NHS email address on the EE website.
BT’s CEO of consumer division Marc Allera said: “We want to show our continued support to NHS staff as pressures of Covid-19 remain.
“Extending our unlimited data offer will help NHS workers as they can easily keep in touch with friends and family, without worrying about their data.
“Along with the 20% discount we already provide, this is a thank you for NHS staff who work so hard to look after us all.”
