Chilingo is a name that should ring a few bells. The company is responisble for publishing the hugely successful Cut the Rope and the first Angry Birds. Now, it’s losing the two people that founded it; Chris Byatte and Joe Wee.

No reason has been given for the sudden departures. Chilingo is an EA-owned outfit, making it the third company under EA’s wing to lose its heads this fortnight.

Last week PopCap boss Dave Roberts left his long-standing poistion, which was followed by Criterion founders Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry. Chilingo was bought up by EA in 2010.

EA hasn’t commeneted on this latest development. Will we see any more sudden departures in the coming days?
