Capcom confirms Monster Hunter 4 for the West

The day has finally come – Capcom has confirmed Monster Hunter 4 for release in the West.

The game will be arriving as Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and will be here in early 2015. It’s the same version as Japan’s Monster Hunter 4G, an update to the original game that was also announced today.

That includes new bosses and locations, with a focus on vertical environments. Also added is multiplayer over Wi-Fi.

We’ll undoubtedly have more on Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate as the year goes on. An announcement trailer is above.
