Benchmarks have leaked for the upcoming Meizu MX5 Pro, which could include a 10-core Helio processor.

This could be the first look at Meizu’s upcoming 10-core monster. The MX5 Pro was previously thought to include the Exynos 7420, until the recently leaked ‘NUIX’ phone suggested that there may be two variants on the horizon. Now, new benchmarks of the 10-core Helio version have cropped up on testing application Antutu which suggest that it could be an absolute monster. According to the result, it has allegedly scored over 70,000 points, which is way ahead of other smartphones on the market.

The source does point out something of an oddity in the result, however. Notice how Antutu only shows 8 of the 10 cores? That’s apparently a bug within the application where it can’t identify the additional 2 Cortex A72 cores, though there’s no way to confirm the legitimacy of this claim. As such, it’s important to take this with a pinch of salt. Still, if it’s true. Wow.
