Details about the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight DLC have been revealed by Gamespot, revealing a new story arc centred around a much requested character.
The first piece of DLC for the critically received but unoptimised Batman: Arkham Knight is set to hit PS4 and Xbox One on July 14th for roughly £5.80 in the UK. The story -based expansion will add the much requested Batgirl into the game as a playable character.
Gamespot reports that the expansion will be named Batgirl: A Matter of Family and will include new missions, side quests and Dual Play mode with Robin. Dual Play is of course that awesome gameplay feature where the player can swap between characters mid-fight, creating some awesome combos between sidekicks.
The expansion is the first in a series of planned DLC additions to the game. Those who hold a season pass will be able to download the content free of charge. There’s currently no word on the PC version having got pulled from retailers for being a technical disgrace.
