Asus has had an interesting year with different-sized devices, and now it’s pushing on with new products. One such device is the Asus Padfone mini 4.3, a smaller version of the company’s elaborate 7-inch tablet.
As you might have guessed the Asus Padfone mini has a 4.3-inch display at a 960 x 540 resolution. It’s powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. There’s a 1500 mAh battery to boot and 8-megapixel camera too. Much like the docking station tablet for the original Padfone, the mini has a station with a 7-inch display, running 1280 x 800 resolution with a 2200 mAh battery.
That station turns your phone into a makeshift tablet, which is an idea first seen in the original Padfone, which came with a standard-sized tablet station. Struggling to keep up? The company has an ad which we’ve included up above. It’s set to launch in Taiwan, China, Russia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia.
