Apple may have an October 22 event planned where it’s widely speculated that the new iPads will be unveiled, but there’s another line that the company is also set to update — the Macs. According to French site MacG.co, the new Mac Pro we got a look at earlier this year at WWDC is set to go on-sale on November 15.

The new cylindrical Mac Pro will be a lot smaller and lighter than its predecessor but will also manage to fit in a whole lot more power — with a 12-core 256-bit Intel Xeon processor and 1,866MHz of DDR3 RAM. There’ll also be a plethora of ports, with four USB 3.0 slots and 6 Lightning 2 ports. There’s no word on how much the new Mac Pro would cost, but at least we won’t have to wait that much longer.

The Mac Pro may be the most exciting announcement that could come out of the October 22 event, there will also be some refreshed MacBook Pros, with both there 13- and 15-inch models getting refreshed with some Intel Haswell processors — much like those found inside the MacBook Air.

According to MacG.co, the MacBook Pros are set to go on-sale on either October 24 or 25, which is a few days before the rumoured iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 release dates — which is either October 30 or 31.
