Only nine months after their release, Apple has finally introduced its own Lightning dock for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

The new dock has a raised bump that accommodates the port and it even has protective casing. There’s also a headphone jack so you can listen to music whilst your iPhone gets some extra juice.

The new dock is available in the Apple Store today for £35.

Apple announcements

The new dock is one of a series of new product announcements from Apple, which also include a Force Touch enabled 15-inch Macbook Pro and new 27-inch iMac with a 5K retina display. Force Touch detects how much pressure someone applies on a MacBook’s trackpad and vibrates every time the trackpad is touched. Based on the amount of pressure you apply to the trackpad, the new MacBook will perform different actions.
