From Monday May 10th, Apple iPad customers can pre-register their order from Apple. The iPad goes on sale May 28th.

What it’s going to cost you:

  • 16GB Wi-Fi £429
  • 32GB Wi-Fi £499
  • 64GB Wi-Fi £599
  • 16GB Wi-Fi + 3G £529
  • 32GB Wi-Fi + 3G £599
  • 64GB Wi-Fi + 3G £699

The iBooks app for iPad, with Apple’s iBookstore, will be available as a free download on May 28th.

Vodafone, Orange and O2 are all supplying Micro SIM cards for use in the 3G iPad, which can be ordered for supply with the iPad. Prices are available on the Apple website, with daily, weekly and monthly options available on a SIM-only basis (no subsidy on the iPad).

Apple sold over 1 million iPad’s in the first 28 days since it went on sale in the US, so demand is likely to be very high. There is a limit of two iPad’s per customer.
