With nine new Samsung devices launched in recent months, tech lovers are spoilt for choice. However, this has also lead to a range of questions from across the web.

What are the new Samsung phone models?

How much does the Samsung S20 cost?

There are four new phones in the Samsung S20 range including the Samsung Galaxy S20 (4G), Samsung Galaxy S20 (5G), Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G and Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G – all with varying price ranges starting from £39 per month with £150 upfront or £799.99 SIM free.

Which phone has the best camera?

Samsung is famous for its smartphone photography and is constantly reinventing its capabilities.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is the most premium handset in the S20 range and has been earmarked by Samsung as the model that will revolutionise photography. The phone boasts a quad-lens camera which includes a 108MP wide-angle lens, combined with a 48MP telephoto camera, 12MP ultra-wide lens and a depth vision sensor.

If you’re a Samsung Galaxy Note series fan, then the Samsung Galaxy Note+ features four cameras; a 16MP + 12MP + 12MP triple-lens rear camera with added Depth Vision lens and a 10MP front-facing camera.

Does the new Samsung range support 5G?

The Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G and Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G support 5G connectivity. However, before purchasing it’s important to note that the Samsung Galaxy S20 does come in 5G and 4G variants, so be sure to get the right device for your needs.

Does the new Samsung handset have a headphone jack?

Samsung has not included the headphone jack in its new range. In order to listen to music or videos, you will need a pair of wireless headphones or a USB-C adapter.

Can I use the Samsung Galaxy S20 underwater?

While we wouldn’t recommend deep sea diving with your S20, the handset is water-resistant up to 1.5 metres, meaning you needn’t worry if you accidentally drop your phone in water.

What is the Galaxy S10 Lite?

The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is a mid-range version of the flagship Galaxy S10. It offers a 6.7” full HD+ super AMOLED plus screen, with a hidden fingerprint scanner to maintain the uninterrupted display. It also boasts a pro-grade camera with 48MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide camera and macro camera.

Is the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite shatterproof?

Samsung doesn’t list the Galaxy S10 Lite as shatterproof, therefore we would always recommend a screen protector.

Is the S10 Lite the same as S10E?

No, they’re different handsets. The main difference is in the cameras, as the new S10 Lite features a triple-camera system, whereas the S10E has a dual-camera system. The other major difference comes in the charging capabilities as the S10 has super-fast charging.
