Another new Android exploit has been unveiled

A new Android exploit has been discovered that buries itself within the deeper files of your smartphone device, making it very difficult to remove.

Fresh off the back of Stagefright 2.0, a new Android adware exploit has been unveiled which buries itself deep into the root files of the device. Once installed, the malicious software then begins to steal information and bombard the user with advertisements. It even attempts to uninstall your anti-virus software in the background, unbeknownst to the user.

Fortunately, there’s a silver lining to this little virus. The infected apps can only be downloaded from third-party websites, so you’re pretty much digging your own grave if you decide to install one anyway. The virus tends to disguise itself in rip-offs of popular applications; on face value you wouldn’t think they were any different.

TL;DR… Just stick to the Google Play Store and you’ll be fine.
