Android 4.4 not hitting US HTC Ones until February

The Android 4.4 update for US versions of the HTC One has suffered a slight delay.

Originally, the update was promised within 90 days of update’s reveal. Now HTC exec Jason Mackenzie has written an open letter to customers on the company’s website, saying that won’t happen.

“The good news is that we won’t miss [the deadline] by much, as it shouldn’t be more than one to two weeks to complete each of the carrier versions of the HTC One,” Mackenzie wrote.

Look for the update in mid-February, then.
