Finally, Samsung’s Galaxy S10 Plus is getting a dedicated camera night mode in the U.S. When the Galaxy S10 series first launched, it did not feature the dedicated camera night mode but instead only a “Bright Night” feature.

Although that was the case, users can’t manually enable the feature. Users you will have to rely on Samsung’s camera algorithms, which would enable it automatically under certain circumstances. This means that users will have less control, unlike other rival flagships such as Google’s Pixel 3, Huawei’s P30 Pro and other Android devices that have a dedicated camera night mode.

At the moment, the feature has only been confirmed to rollout to AT&T Galaxy S10 Plus handsets. However, there were also reports that Verizon is using the same number of version for its June security update, so the feature could also be available there soon as well.

The dedicated camera night mode is currently only available for the Galaxy S10 Plus, but the S10 and S10e should get the update soon. No word yet when the feature will come to T-Mobile and other carriers. Also, the unlocked US Galaxy S10 Plus hasn’t gotten the feature just yet. In addition to the dedicated night mode, the update also adds a QR scanner to the camera app.

To recap, the Galaxy S10 Plus has an impressive 6.4-inch infinity display screen with a hidden in-screen fingerprint sensor. It features triple cameras in the rear (16MP + 12MP + 12MP) that work together to deliver the best quality of photos. One takes a normal shot, telephoto and new ultra-wide photos, so you don’t need to back away when taking more of what is in front of you. The two front cameras also take beautiful selfies which is a 10MP and 8MP.

The South Korean giant has remained one of the phone manufacturers to have not ditched the 3.5 mm headphone jack, which is a relief to fans. The entry-level Galaxy S10 Plus comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. While it’s ‘Ultimate Performance Edition’ variant, which is only offered in Samsung’s website has a huge 12GB of RAM and a whopping 1TB of storage.

Let us not forget what is under the hood, which is kind of the most important thing. The Galaxy S10 Plus features a Snapdragon 855 processor which is relatively the fastest yet, making the Galaxy S10 one of the best gaming smartphones out there.

The colors available for the smartphone are also outstanding. Take your pick with Prism White, Prism Black, Prism Green and Ceramic Black. The Galaxy S10 Plus retails at $999 / £899 / AU$1,499 for the 128GB of storage. On the other hand, the 512GB variant with a ceramic back retails at $1,249 / £1,099 / AU$1,849. Finally, the ‘Ultimate Performance Edition’ has a hefty price tag of $1,599 / £1,399 / AU$2,399.

The Galaxy S10 series is more expensive than its predecessor but it sure is packed with all these features and components that deliver the maximum user experience. Now, it is no wonder why the Galaxy S10 series are selling better than the Galaxy S9 handsets.
