Every year, Black Friday offers huge discounts on the most sought-after tech products on the market. Many anticipated mobile phone releases debuted this year, leaving plenty of opportunity to get your hands on money-saving deals.

With Friday 25th November right around the corner, Kyle Wilson mobile expert at online smartphone retailer, Mobiles.co.uk has narrowed down the top mobile handsets to keep your eyes on this Black Friday.

iPhone 14

Kyle said: “iPhone 14, which launched in September, is the latest Apple handset to hit the market. While the smartphone is still visually similar to iPhone 13, all its impressive new features are under the hood. iPhone 14 boasts Apple’s longest ever ‘all-day’ battery life for a smartphone and an A15 Bionic chip with five core GPU, meaning improved performance over previous iPhone models.

“The new and improved camera technology means 2.5x better low-light photos and a cinematic mode which allows you to record videos in 4k. Other unique new features include crash detection, which notifies emergency services if you have been in a car accident using satellite services to get in contact, a first of its kind.”

Google Pixel 7

“Another brand-new handset released recently is the Google Pixel 7, a powerful android device made with 100% recycled materials. The new Google Tensor G2 processor is custom-built to increase efficiency, while the impressive Adaptive Battery can last over 24 hours and up to three days in Extreme Battery Saver mode.

“With a dual rear camera, cinematic blur, and 92.8-degree ultra-wide field of view front-facing camera, there are endless possibilities when it comes to photography and cinematography, all taken in stunning 4K.”

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

“By merging the Samsung S and Note range of phones, Samsung has created the unique and powerful Galaxy S22 Ultra, a must-have phone for Android lovers. Similarly, to the Note range, the S22 Ultra comes with an S Pen stylus, improving functionality when writing out notes and texts, without having to use the keyboard.

“The Exynos 2200 chip makes the S22 Ultra a handset with standout performance capabilities and its 108MP camera with 12 MP wide lens takes photos with incredible visual clarity.”

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11

“For those on a tighter budget, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 is an excellent option for cutting costs without sacrificing performance. A standout feature on this handset is the 1080p AMOLED display, the perfect example of Xiaomi keeping prices affordable while still providing a high-quality device.

“Where photography is concerned, the Redmi Note 11 comes with a 108MP camera, 8MP ultrawide lens, and 2MP macro camera, for both high-quality portrait and landscape photography. This handset’s fast charging capabilities and 5G connectivity make it a leader in the budget-handset market.”

Kyle Wilson, mobile expert at Mobiles.co.uk added: “Black Friday is an exciting period for those wanting to make big savings on high-end tech. The sheer volume of handsets can seem overwhelming at first, but they each offer unique characteristics for you to choose from.”

“Knowing whether you prefer an Android or iPhone handset is a great first step, quickly narrowing down the options. Whether you’re a photographer, social media whiz, or avid gamer will help you determine the features that you will benefit from the most. Don’t forget to create a budget and stick to it, to give you the best chance of getting all the eye-catching tech you need.”
