Twitter Moments gets web link support on mobile

Twitter has today announced via a blog post that the iOS and Android versions of their popular social media application will be receiving enhanced Moments support.

Twitter Moments launched last year as a platform to tell stories much easier and the latest update brings much better link support. Users can now tap a link within a Moment and be transported directly to the story or news piece that it is referenced from, providing more context for those who wish to read a little deeper.

It’s not exactly a huge update, but it’s something that fans of the Moments feature have been clamoring for since its arrival. Outside of the app announcement, the company also said that they had started a new open source initiative to aid the development of faster mobile websites in the future. This new feature will be baked into Moments going forward, which should make things a little more speedier.

Head to the Google Play or iOS App Store to grab the latest updates now.
