Ryu from the popular video game series Street Fighter is coming to Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros.

Nintendo announced on Sunday that the iconic karate master will join the Smash Bros roster. Fire Emblem’s Roy will also make an appearance.

Super Smash Bros. is one of Nintendo’s most popular series where players can pit some of Nintendo’s most popular characters against each other in battles. Mario, Bowser, Samus Aran and Link are some of the characters available to choose.

Super Smash Bros update

Both Ryu and Roy are now available to download on Wii U and 3DS versions of the game.

“Today’s update proves that the evergreen Super Smash Bros. games continue to evolve and grow with unexpected new content,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing, according to Business Wire.

These new playable characters accompany a software update that adds three new stages alongside a variety of alternative costumes.
