By now you’ll likely have heard of The xx: the band recently won the prestigious Mercury Prize for their debut album. This is their debut app, which has been made available for free on the App Store to get even more of a buzz around the music.

It’s not your ordinary band app either. It includes separate video footage of each of the three band members playing songs, and the idea is that you sync up with two iPhone / iPod touch-owning friends to play them, each with a different band member on-screen. Very cool, but for fans only.
